Connect a Solana wallet and hit βEnter the World.β Signing in is a free wallet signature (Sign-In With Solana) β it's not a transaction, costs no gas, and moves no funds. Your wallet address is your identity and a session lasts 7 days. Logging in requires holding at least 100,000 $HP AND 1,000,000 $EMBER in your wallet (two separate holding gates); the public guide, item compendium, and bestiary are open to everyone with no login.
Every region is a live point-and-click map you share with other players in real time. Click the ground to walk there, click a monster to fight it, click a resource node (ore vein or herb) to gather, and click a station (furnace or anvil) to craft. A minimap and HUD track your position and HP, and nearby players can chat.
Your $HP holdings set your tier, and each tier raises your max-HP cap and unlocks the next region β Gloomwood and the Frostmere, the Cinderpeaks, the Great Forge, the Shattered Spire, the Sunken Mire, the Astral Reach, the Emberdeep (18M $HP + 5M $EMBER held), and the Voidscar (20M $HP + 5M $EMBER held) β the two deepest regions each need $EMBER held on top of the $HP tier. Your current tier and the full ladder are shown at the top of this page. If you buy or sell $HP, sign in again to refresh your tier.
Take the opening quest (A Rude Awakening) and follow the starter chain β it teaches movement, combat, and your first boss. Fight the slimes and goblins near town, grab the loot, level your combat skills, and claim your daily reward each day. Try mining and smithing early so you can forge your own gear.
Combat is turn-based and resolved on the server with seeded, auditable randomness, so a modified client can't fake outcomes. Your Attack (minus the enemy's Defense, times a small random variance) trades blows with the enemy each round until one side hits 0 HP. On a kill you roll that monster's weighted drop table for items, gold, XP toward your combat skills, and often $EMBER.
You can drink a healing potion or an elixir mid-fight β but it costs you the swing, so the enemy gets a free strike; time it when you can afford the tempo hit. Every potion and elixir works in combat: heals restore HP, elixirs apply their buff, and a Repair Kit patches your gear. Put your consumables on the hotbar for one-tap use.
Falling in battle sends you back to town with no item loss β a setback, not a disaster. There's no free rest-to-full: between fights you heal with potions or a Sanctuary Rest blessing at the Ember Shrine, which keeps healing a real part of the economy.
Bosses aren't just bigger. Wound one past half health and it enrages β hitting harder and critting more; past a quarter it enrages further. Glass-cannon builds that can't finish fast get punished, so bring sustain (lifesteal/potions) or defense (dodge/armor) to the long fights.
Open your Inventory and slot weapons, armor, and accessories. Armor and accessories gate on your COMBAT LEVEL (your best of Melee, Ranged, or Arcane) β not on Defense or Vitality β so if you're strong enough to fight in a region, you can wear its gear. Save gear sets as loadouts and swap between a tanky and a damage set in one click.
Every weapon, armor piece, and accessory is its own item in your bag β they never merge together, so a +5 tempered blade always stays separate from a plain one. Only materials and consumables stack into a single slot.
Equipped gear loses 1 durability per won fight and breaks at 0 durability (its stats stop counting until you fix it β you're warned when something breaks). Repair in your Inventory for $EMBER per point restored, or use a Repair Kit to fully restore all your equipped gear at once (craft them from ingots or buy them at the Ember Exchange).
Permanently upgrade an item's main stat, +1 per temper level up to +5. Tempering ALSO toughens the piece: its durability (the number of fights before it breaks) scales up with each level, reaching DOUBLE at +5 β so a max-tempered godly item lasts 600 fights instead of 300. Each level costs $EMBER (scaling with the level) plus a unit of Emberbloom plus 1,000,000 gold, per temper. Tempered levels are permanent.
Wearing multiple pieces of the same set triggers a set bonus that grows at 3, 5, and 6 pieces β and bonuses can include crit, dodge, and lifesteal, not just attack, defense, and HP. Only your single best set bonus applies at a time, so commit to one identity for the full effect. Standout endgame sets: Venomweave (Sunken Mire), Astral Ascendant (Astral Reach), and the box-exclusive Founder's Grace.
Gear runs common β uncommon β rare β epic β legendary β mythic β GODLY, the top tier above mythic (shown with a shifting rainbow instead of a colour). Only Godly items are minted as cNFTs β every lower rarity is an off-chain (in-database) item. Higher tiers need a higher combat level to equip β Godly requires level 70.
The strongest set in the game for killing β by far. Godsforged is Godly-tier gear with the highest attack, the most crit (so you hit crits far more often), and the biggest lifesteal (you heal for a huge share of the damage you deal), plus heavy HP and defense. It comes with THREE weapons β a Blade (melee), a Scepter (magic), and a Longbow (ranged) β so any build can complete the set; equip one weapon plus the five armour pieces for the full bonus. It drops ONLY from the Founder's Cache ($AGS) and the Dragon Hoard (2,000,000 $EMBER + 250,000 $AGS) box, at about 0.1% per piece β the rarest chase in Embervale.
Mine ore and pick herbs from world nodes, then smelt and forge at a furnace or anvil (Smithing) or brew potions and elixirs (Alchemy). Recipes need a skill level, the right station, and materials; higher-tier forge recipes also burn coal as fuel, so gathering coal ties into crafting. Craft from the Workshop screen or at any station in the world β the Gather and Craft buttons stay pinned as you scroll.
Over 100 quests guide you through the world with kill, collect, and reach objectives that pay gold, $EMBER, XP into specific skills, and sometimes a guaranteed item. You take a quest once and claim its reward once. Follow the starter chain, then branch into crafting mastery, regional pushes, and boss hunts.
Gloomfang, the Rime Warden, the Forgeborn Titan, the Aether Wyrm, the Mire Leviathan, and the Astral Sovereign are HP-gated fights with rich drop tables β the main source of top-end cNFT gear. The Full Bestiary (linked at the top) lists every boss's exact drop table and drop rates.
World bosses are shared community targets on the Raid screen β everyone who joins deals damage to one massive boss. Each strike is paid in $EMBER and the cost scales with the damage you deal. When the boss falls, EVERY participant's $EMBER share AND their loot are delivered to their Mail to claim. When the treasury reward pool is overfull, the next world boss spawns as an event boss paying a multiplied reward.
A solo $EMBER wager against a shade scaled to your power β an honest, seeded coin flip. You win 50% of the time and take 1.75Γ your stake when you do β a 1,000,000 bet returns 1,750,000 (750,000 profit) β which gives the house a 12.5% edge that funds the treasury. Every fight is seeded and auditable. A fast way to gamble $EMBER with fair, transparent odds.
Challenge other players to wagered duels. The odds aren't a coin flip β they come from each fighter's combat score (Attack Γ HP Γ a Defense factor), clamped to roughly 10β90% so there's always an upset chance; equal fighters are a true 50/50. The winner takes the pot minus a 25% duel tax.
List your item instances for sale in $EMBER and buy what other players post; the board updates live. A 25% marketplace tax applies to every sale β the primary $EMBER sink in the game β and your Trading skill lowers the fee you pay as it levels up. Rare-and-above items carry their cNFT, which settles on-chain behind the trade.
Direct player-to-player sending of $EMBER and items is disabled. All trading between players goes through the taxed marketplace, which keeps the economy honest and prevents laundering to alt accounts.
A fixed-price $EMBER shop β health potions, Repair Kits, coal, Emberbloom, Sparks of Insight, and rarer tonics, no gamble. Hold $HP (Kindled tier or above) for an automatic 15% discount, and higher tiers unlock the better goods on the Ascendant Shelf.
Spend $EMBER on blessings: Sanctuary Rest (instantly heal to full), Hearthstone (teleport home), and timed buffs (+attack, +crit, +dodge, +lifesteal, and an +XP Insight blessing). Your fast heal-up between fights now that free resting is gone.
A seeded, logged gamble for gear. $EMBER crates β Adventurer's Crate, Champion's Vault, and Dragon Hoard β are bought with in-game $EMBER. The premium Founder's Cache is paid from your wallet in $AGS plus $EMBER; it grants three rolls, is the richest box in the game, and is the only source of the exclusive Founder's Grace set.
Pets are companions that grant a passive bonus β buy one for $EMBER and set it active. The legendary Phoenix Chick gives +25% drop rate (bonus loot rolls) on top of XP and attack. Guilds give member-wide perks funded by the shared treasury: bonus XP and gold by tier, plus β at 10,000,000 $EMBER donated β +5% $EMBER from bosses AND +5% drop-table luck for every member, both doubling to +10% at 20,000,000 donated.
Wearing Godly-tier set pieces boosts the $EMBER you get from BOSS kills: +1% per Fortune part, +2.5% per Grace part, and +5% per Godsforged part you have equipped (stacks with the guild boss-$EMBER perk). A full Godsforged loadout is a big boss-$EMBER multiplier on top of being the strongest set for killing.
Your in-game inbox. Season prizes, raid rewards, and system gifts arrive here with attached $EMBER or items β open a message and hit Claim to collect. Claims are one-time and protected against double-claiming.
Claim a daily reward about once every 20 hours β the amount scales with your $HP tier and grows with your login streak (a bonus for each consecutive day, up to a 7-day streak), so log in daily to keep it alive. Rotating daily bounties pay extra $EMBER for kill and collect tasks.
Holding $HP can earn you passive $EMBER every hour β but ONLY while you hold an active 60-day Staking Pass. With the pass on, your $HP automatically earns $EMBER each hour (more $HP means a higher rate, up to a cap), and it piles up even while you're offline for up to 48 hours; come back to the Rewards screen and hit Claim. Without a pass, your $HP earns nothing. Buy the pass in one on-chain wallet payment on the Rewards page.
When the treasury takes in more $EMBER than it pays out, an Ember Surge opens and every player can claim a bonus payout until the pool drains back to balance β watch for it. Referrals pay 50,000 $EMBER to both you and a friend, but only after the referred account has held 1,000,000 $HP for 3 days (an anti-alt guard), so farming with throwaway wallets doesn't pay.
Turn your earned in-game $EMBER into real $EMBER in your wallet. Your withdrawal limit is a rolling 24-hour daily cap that scales with your $HP: no $HP = can't cash out; up to 1M $HP = 100,000/day; under 15M = 1,000,000/day; under 40M = 3,000,000/day; 40M+ = 10,000,000/day; 40M $HP + 20M $EMBER = 20,000,000/day. A 400,000 $EMBER minimum applies per cashout. Cashouts run through anti-bot checks and require holding your $HP, so automated farming accounts can't cash out.
Seasons auto-cycle every 4 days β no manual resets. Boss kills award season points that scale with the boss's rank β the highest boss (Nihilarch) gives 40, then Magmaroth 30, Astral Sovereign 25, stepping down to 1 for the lowest (Gloomfang) β so hunting tougher bosses climbs the ladder faster. Arena wins give +5, duel wins +5, bounties +3, achievements +5. At season end the top 10 split 1% of the reward pool via Mail. Leaderboards rank players by wealth, skill levels, and boss kills.
Every skill trains from 1 to 99 on a long RuneScape-style curve. Past 99, extra XP in a maxed skill becomes Paragon XP β spend Paragon points on account-wide permanent boosts to Attack (Might), Defense (Guard), and max HP (Vigor). The infinite endgame treadmill.
At the heart of the world burns the Ember β a living fire that warms the soil, quickens the blood, and holds the dark at bay. For a thousand years the Ember-Wardens tended it and the realms flourished. No one living remembers the night it first began to dim.
As the Ember cooled, the Gloom crept out of the low places: a hungry grey that rots wood, sours water, and twists beast and person alike into something wrong. Kingdoms guttered out one by one. What remains of the world huddles around the last warm coals.
You are Emberkin β born carrying a spark of the old fire, and so the Gloom cannot keep you dead. Fall, and the Ember pulls you back to the nearest hearth. You are rare, needed, and quietly feared: a person who cannot be finished off is a dangerous thing to owe or to cross.
Emberhold Vale, green and gentle, where every Emberkin wakes. Gloomwood, the forest the grey took first. The Frostmere, a frozen lake north of Gloomwood where the Rime Warden keeps its endless post. The Cinderpeaks, volcanic and unforgiving, where the deep ore and the old forges lie. The Shattered Spire, half outside the world, where the Cinderwyrm coils around a dying coal. The Sunken Mire, a drowned, poison swamp where the Mire Leviathan stirs beneath black water. And the Astral Reach, a star-realm at the edge of creation, where the Astral Sovereign guards the last light. More realms wake as the fire is fed.
Gold, the common coin of every market stall. The Embermark, crystallized fire traded between adventurers for real worth. And the Lifespark β a shard of the Ember itself; those who carry more of it are simply harder to put down.
Not everyone fights. The Forgefolk of the Cinderpeaks pull ore from the black rock, smelt it in Ember-fed furnaces, and hammer out the blades and bulwarks the realms depend on. Learn their craft β mining, smithing, alchemy β and you need never buy your gear from anyone again.
Every strike has a chance to land a critical hit for 1.6Γ damage. Your crit chance starts at 8% and grows with your best combat skill (melee, ranged, or arcane) up to +14% at level 99 β plus any crit stat on your gear (Precision Dagger, Hawkeye Bow, Crown of Focus, and more). Watch for the gold CRIT numbers.
Dodge is a chance to avoid an incoming hit entirely. It starts at 2% and grows with your Defense skill (up to +15% at level 99), plus dodge gear (Winddancer Gloves, Shadowstep Boots, Phantom Shield). A high-dodge build shrugs off blows that would flatten a glass cannon.
Lifesteal heals you for a share of the damage you deal. It grows with your Vitality skill (up to +8% at level 99) plus lifesteal gear (Vampiric Dagger, Blooddrinker Axe, Sanguine Amulet), turning Vitality into a true bruiser path β you heal as you hit.
Bosses aren't just bigger. Wound one past half health and it enrages β hitting harder and critting more; past a quarter it enrages further. Glass-cannon builds that can't finish fast get punished, so bring sustain or defense to the long fights.
Hold $HP to log in, raise your max HP, and unlock deeper regions and quests. It's your access-and-power token β acquired, not farmed. More $HP = a higher tier = more of Embervale open to you, plus a discount and unlocked stock at the Ember Exchange.
The in-game money for everything: the marketplace, mystery boxes, the Ember Exchange, repairs, tempering, guilds, and duel wagers. Earned by playing and spent right back in. It's a sub-penny token, so the numbers are large by design.
Buys the premium Founder's Cache. It funds the studio β development, community airdrops, and marketing β and never pays into the player reward pool. You never need it to play or to earn.
Earned mainly by selling to vendors. Gold soaks up grind without inflating $EMBER; it's off-chain and in-game only.
